This month's window is all Wishmas. I had enough pink and sparkle to pair with our disco balls and pink trees to create a whole window display. Don't get me wrong, I love a traditional preppy tartan holiday look, and that's clear I think by what I collected from all of you for our holiday rack, but this girly, sparkly, metallic holiday look is the real me and of course matches wish's branding perfectly.
I kept waiting to write this blog post until I "had time" to write all my end of year thoughts and realized this morning that there are just two weeks left of wish for 2024 and I better publish something with what's (left) in this window and save all the other stuff for January so without further ado...
First up is the hat, faux fur jacket and crop baby pink cashmere sweater I'm wearing in our window shoot this month. The hat is brand new with tags from Mitchie's and so cozy. The perfect neutral faux fur coat is Magaschoni and we actually have two of them in XL that are nearly identical. I've also seen it tried on a size 6 as an oversized coat and it's cute that way too so worth a try if you're smaller than XL and looking for a camel coat. The cashmere sweater is from our favorite cashmere brand, Cortland Park, available in both Medium and Large but not for long I'd suspect because I think I'lll break down and buy the Large (seen here) soon...
As for the rest of the window:
Silver Sequin Tiered Longsleeve Dress from Vineyard Vines
M&S Satin Midi Slip Dress in a stunning blue/gray/green paired with a perfect match fur trim wrap from Diana Rosh which would make an excellent gift!
The girliest blush ballerina tulle midi skirt from LoveShackFancy is shown with a classic gold crewneck sweater by J. McLaughlin.
Another LoveShackFancy favorite is the ruffle sweater with a few sequins throughout paired with "winter white" jeans from Tu ES Mon Tresor - both new with tags attached I might add.
You can't see it well here but I'd be remiss not to mention the stunning size 12 Carmen Marc Valvo gown tucked in the corner of the window display which is absolutely stunning.
On the the side window shown behind me, Gold Jacquard Dress with a hint of flare from Julie Brown, Design History Sequin Striped TShirt Dress and behind me is the chicest pink sequin dress you could imagine from Shoshanna. I will mention that although that last dress is marked a size 8, I think it fits closer to a 4/6.
On that note, I'm off to open the store! Remember, we are closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and then open 12/26-12/29 for our annual Fast Forward Sale before we close for our annual Winter's Nap.
